About us

Purpose

proCanoe is an independent benefactor’s association. It was founded on 17 August 2011. It supports youth development in line with the mission statement of the Schaffhausen Canoe Club. Support is provided on a voluntary basis and without prejudice to the future.

The majority of the raised funds are earmarked for the competition group of the Schaffhausen Canoe Club. The remaining part is used to maintain the member network.

Vision

With the concept of proCanoe, not only do we want to encourage but also to challenge.

An athlete's goal should not simply be to participate, but to achieve a realistic result, which must be the best possible at the time of the competition. Logically, this increases the pressure on the athlete, but this pressure will not go away as long as one is measured by one's performance. This is also part of the school of life.
